Jodrell Bank is the latest venue from The Modern Caterer, home to the world famous Lovell Telescope, set in the heart of rural Cheshire.

Peter Booth aka The Modern Caterer has been cooking his simple, fresh, seasonal food for Mancunians and the international community alike for nearly 10 years now, at nowhere more noteably than the Whitworth Art Gallery.

The majestic settings of the Whitworth Art Gallery provided the perfect backdrop for The Modern Caterer to firmly establish itself on the gastromic map of the North West. With a steady stream of prestigious awards and new openings, followed by the critically acclaimed Gabriel’s Kitchen and Chorlton’s new casual eatery Gabriel’s Grocery Store.

Booth was born in Liverpool and travelled from an early age to London, Europe, the Americas and Middle east, exploring local foods and culture along the way.

Expect expertly sourced produce, fresh, punchy world flavours and classic British comfort food at all venues.
